CAMP BGEN OSCAR M FLORENDO – Police Regional Office 1 through its Regional Medical and Dental Unit 1 in partnership with the Department of Health-Regional Office 1, has started administering booster shots or third-dose of covid vaccines to frontline medical PNP personnel.

PBGEN EMMANUEL B PERALTA, PRO1 Regional Director, said that during the symbolic Booster dose vaccination program with the theme “Pulis mo bakunado para sa serbisyo publiko,” conducted earlier today at PRO1 auditorium, a total of 151 priority group A1 personnel has received their COVID-19 booster shot.

PBGEN Peralta said that the activity was in preparation for the forthcoming National Vaccination Day scheduled on November 29 to December 1. “We are very fortunate to be receiving this shot, and we are hoping that everyone else also receives the much needed shot so that as we slowly ease our quarantine restrictions, we can continue to observe the decrease on covid affectation and utilization of our medical services, so everybody could go back to their normal lives and be productive once again,” Peralta said.

As of this date, a total of 99.42% of PRO1 personnel have already been fully-vaccinated, while the vaccination of their dependents is still on-going. An additional 164 frontline health personnel of PRO1 is also set to receive their booster shot on December 15. Meanwhile, PNP Peace Process and Development Center Chief, PBGEN RITCHIE MEDARDO A POSADAS, visited PRO1 for the conduct of lecture on the Information, Education, and Communication activities conducted by the PNP to raise the public’s awareness and involvement in the achievement of peace and sustainable development.####
