Among the Police Commissioned Officers, seven (7) were promoted to Police Lieutenant Colonel, 34 to Police Major, 44 to Police Captain and 5 to Police Lieutenant.
For PNCOs, 107 were promoted as Police Executive Master Sergeant, 198 for Police Chief Master Sergeant, 185 for Police Senior Master Sergeant, 101 for Police Master Sergeant, 322 for Police Staff Sergeant and 128 for Police Corporal.
In his message, PBGEN PERALTA mentioned that said promotion is one of his priorities as his way of recognizing the sacrifices, accomplishments and merit the personnel have displayed in the police service not only in the fight against criminality but also against COVID-19.
During the ceremony, he also emphasized that promotion does not mean more authority, but implies more responsibilities and contributions to the PNP organization.
In short, we should lead by a good example,” he averred. ###
